We are a virtual worship community based in Spokane Valley, Washington, welcoming both Jewish and Gentile followers of Yeshua (Jesus) as the promised Messiah of Israel. Grounded in the authentic heritage of Messianic Judaism, our mission is to provide an accessible, welcoming space for all seekers around the world to explore faith in the Messiah through an inherently Jewish perspective.
Our foundation and biblical roots
Kehilat HaMashiach maintains a vibrant Jewish identity, heritage, and culture that reflects the modern movement among Jewish believers for Yeshua. Our teachings are drawn from the fullness of the Tenach (the Torah, the Prophets, and the Writings) as well as the Brit Chadasha (the New Covenant Scriptures). We approach both from their inherent Jewish perspective, honoring the faithful Jewish men of G-d who recorded them. We joyfully observe the biblical feasts and holy days of Israel, pairing traditional practices with the profound spiritual insights of the New Covenant.
Believing in Yeshua is a Jewish reality
When the Messiah Yeshua walked among His people in Israel, He never taught or lived contrary to the foundations in the Torah. Addressing common misunderstandings of Moses' teachings in His day, He lived and instructed with unprecedented authority. Just as countless leaders and everyday people embraced Him in the first century, many Jewish people today are rediscovering the person and message of Yeshua of Natzeret. We affirm with joy and conviction that it was, and always remains, an entirely Jewish thing to believe in Yeshua.
